THE VENUE

Palau de Congressos de Palma

The Palau de Congressos de Palma was born from the need to provide Palma with a large multifunctional space where they can meet from the most relevant conferences and congresses to cultural events such as concerts or varied exhibitions. Thanks to the collaboration of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Palma City Council and Meliá Hotels International, the doors of the Palau de Congressos de Palma were opened to the public in April 2017.

Francisco Mangado, the architect in charge of the project, has been able to take advantage of everything that Palma has to offer. Inspired by the waves of the sea, the sunlight and the fine sand of its beaches, Mangado has created an environment that stands out for its sustainability. The marés stone, typical of the Balearic Islands, padouk wood and aluminum merge in a uniquely designed building facing the Mediterranean Sea.
